Beerus and Whis Join the Investigation
Beerus and Whis first became involved after Future Trunks arrived from his devastated timeline and described Goku Black's immense power.
While Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma initially focused on helping Trunks prepare for another battle, Whis quickly realized that the enemy's identity might be linked to Zamasu, an apprentice Supreme Kai. His observations provided the first major clue that the conflict extended far beyond ordinary time travel.
To investigate further, Beerus, Whis, Goku, and Shin traveled to Universe 10, where they met the present-day Zamasu and his mentor, Gowasu. During their visit, Goku sparred with Zamasu, inadvertently fueling the apprentice's fascination with Saiyan power. Beerus and Whis also noted Zamasu's growing hatred toward mortals, realizing that his convictions could become dangerous if left unchecked.
