The title is *Kaiju No. 8: Narumi's Week at Work*. As the name suggests, it’s a spin-off that focuses on Gen Narumi, Japan’s strongest kaiju fighter. You’re probably wondering what it’s about, aren’t you?
"Kaiju No. 8" is returning as a series of short animated episodes leading up to the climactic episode.
"Kaiju No. 8: Narumi's Work Week" is a four-episode "mini-anime" series (each episode lasting a few minutes) that depicts the daily life of the strongest character in the world created by Naoya Matsumoto. The first episode was released on September 5, and it has been confirmed that the entire series will be available on Crunchyroll.
Production I.G, which produced the first and second seasons of the main anime series, will also handle animation production for this spin-off. Although there has been no official announcement yet, it’s safe to assume that they are also working on an anime adaptation of the final chapter of the original manga.
