The Plot of Reincarnated in a Mafia Dating Sim and the Character Francesca Calvino
This captivating story is penned by Toko Amekawa, the author behind the massive success 7th Time Loop. Featuring an "enemies-to-lovers" theme, the narrative centers on the granddaughter of a yakuza boss who is reincarnated as Francesca Calvino. She realizes she has been reborn as the female lead in a mafia-themed dating simulation game—set in a fantasy world where crime bosses serve a king.
Francesca initially expects her life to be bleak and solitary, much like her previous existence. However, drawing on the tough yakuza upbringing from her past life, she devises a solid escape plan. Her primary goal in this new world is to break off her engagement to Leonardo Aldini, the young leader of the Aldini crime family and the game's main antagonist.
Ironically, Francesca’s plan does not go according to the game's script. After successfully saving herself from a kidnapping attempt without the help of the male lead, she proves to be a formidable match for Leonardo.

As scheduled, the sixth volumes of both the novel and the manga will be released simultaneously on August 1. Internationally, Tokyopop—which handles the English-language manga distribution—has also confirmed plans to begin publishing the original light novel version next year.
